Fundays Adult Day Care
Activities
Our activities are varied and include everything from trips out to entertainers, art, active games etc. Our experienced activities manager adapts our activities so that everyone can participate if they wish no matter what abilities they may have.
A typical day with us
Every day at the day centre is different, but you can expect it to be like this:

Welcome and settle into the centre over a cup of tea and a chat.
​
Morning activities will begin at 10am -12pm.
​
A freshly prepared Afternoon Tea or a hot meal will be served by our staff 12-1pm.
​
More activities will be organised after lunch at 1pm – 3pm.
About our centre

Our day centre caters for up to 18 people and provides a full day of activities for those who attend.

Fundays day centre runs from 9.30am until 3.00pm with either full day, morning or afternoon sessions available.

We provide lunch and refreshments throughout the day

The day is an opportunity for some often much-needed respite for carers.
Person centered approach
We always put the person at the centre of everything we do. Prior to any attendance we always spend time with each person and their families to build a relationship and find out as much information as we can about their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

As well as full care assessment we also complete a comprehensive life story for each person, enabling us to learn as much as we can about them. We want to support our customers so that they enjoy a happy and active time with us.
